I'm Renita Duncan and I'm running for District 147. I'm a single mother, a grandmother, a retired Command Sergeant Major, and a 35-year public servant who has worked at every level of government from the front lines of military service to the front desks of social services.
I'm running because this district deserves transit that reaches its people, wages that reflect real life, healthcare that is protected, and a voice in the statehouse that answers to them, not to special interests.
I am rooted in service to this community, and I am ready to lead us forward.
About Renita
Rooted in Service. Leading & Serving Forward.
I am a single mother, a grandmother, and a survivor who thrives. I am a servant leader who has spent 35 years doing the work, not talking about it. I am running for Georgia House District 147 because this community deserves accountable, attainable representation they can trust to fight with their voice. I already understand what it costs to live here, and I have the record to fight for it.
My story is rooted in the lived experience of the people I seek to represent. I have navigated public assistance systems as a recipient and administered them as a caseworker. I have survived domestic violence and built programs to prevent it. I have raised a family as a single mother while serving this country and this community, with one mission in mind: protect and serve, so that we all can live the American Dream.
